Søren Dahlgaard will inaugurate Stalkes new Video room with the video installation Challenging Dough, where the artist repetitively makes bending of the arms in dough in front of the hedge.
The video is without sound, takes 16 seconds and loops. Søren Dahlgaard will also show his photographic Dough Portraits, recently shown at the Danish National Gallery, Statens Museum for Kunst. The works of art shows us the absurd meeting between two well-known components:
The Portrait photography and dough. The models had 10 kg of dough on top of their heads.
Søren Dahlgaard transforms and challenges well-known objects and makes us SEE in a whole new way.
