It is with great pleasure that Stalke Gallery announce a double exhibition with

WIlliam Anthony (USA)
”Satire”

and

Thorbjørn Lausten (DK)
”Light and paper”

The exhibition runs from October 16th to November 21st, 2010.

William Anthony has returned to Denmark for another show with Stalke. This time his satires range from flaming  kamikazes to unruly cowboys to rococo sex follies to pop art and just about every other art form.  Nothing is sacred.

The New York Times describes Anthony as "a cult figure" and his work as "hilarious and profound."

Over the last decade, Anthony has exhibited several times in Denmark through Stalke Gallery.

Thorbjørn Lausten shows three small light works with neon and a number of paperworks relating to his light works and data visualizations for large media works.

Thorbjørn Lausten forges a link between the visible world and mental activity, between the concrrete and the imaginary.
Thorbjørn Lausten’s work uges us to turn sights into insights – and this is the point of his transformation of space.
