The stamp Wall Press was produced in 2014 by ARTSTAMP.DK in collaboration with the American artist Cordy Ryman. The release is part of a series of artist stamps in which contemporary artists are invited to explore the stamp format as an artistic medium.
The image depicts a characteristic example of Ryman’s practice, combining sculptural elements with painterly gestures in a spatially aware composition. Wall Press reflects his material-based approach and his interest in the physical encounter between artwork and architecture.
The stamp measures 39 x 30 mm and was published in an edition of 2,100 copies.
