William Anastasi

Introduction

This publication was issued in connection with the exhibition Anastasi · Bradshaw · Cage, realized through a collaboration between the Museum of Contemporary Art, Nikolaj Kunsthal, and Stalke Galleri.

Stalke Galleri, led by Sam Jedig, actively contributed to the realization of the project and supported the museum’s work in presenting an important encounter between the American artists William Anastasi and Dove Bradshaw, together with their key source of inspiration, John Cage.

The exhibition formed part of a larger joint initiative, in which several institutions collaborated to highlight the intersections between visual art, music, and conceptual practice. This catalogue serves both as documentation and as further reflection on this unique exhibition context.
